ABOUT US
My name is Emma and my husband is Martin. Together, we founded Oakies Farm Stays. We live on our small holding just outside of Llandovery, Carmarthenshire with our two children, Harlow and Ollie. We live in a converted cow barn and have approcimately 15 acres of land.
On our land, we have a selection of extremely spectacular Oak trees. Hence our name, Oakies.
We are animal lovers and do our best to be as self sufficient as possible. We are proud to say all of our hay we feed our animals is grown and produced on site.
We love where we live and we hope that you enjoy your stay with us.

 To Do Nearby
For a small drive away, you will find Crychan Forest Trails, Aberglasney Gardens and Dinefwr House.
All are extremely popular with visitors and walkers.
Llandovery market town is only 2 miles away and the main square hosts a weekly farmers market. The castle ruins are also here.
However we wouldn’t recommend you walking there as the road can get busy.
Lots of guests who stay with us walk Pen Y Fan mountain and the Four Falls Waterfall walk, both are approximately a 40 minute drive from us.
Brecon town is great to explore. There are lots of shops, a beautiful river to take a stroll along and there is even a canal boat which runs trips right through the season.
